I know those waves of grief very well and your poem identifies the sadness we feel when we lose someone close as we never come to terms with the loss, a fine poem, love Dolly x

This is very nicely written for a free verse for the contest, and I wish you the very best in the contest. It seems our grief still seem to come at us as waves sometimes very large waves and sometimes very small but it's all the same is grief. Patric.

Thank you for your review, Patric. And I'm sad that you know grief too, but I guess that's what makes us human. I have never seen my mother cry, in my 51 years of life.
