Your story is a chilling portrayal of the horrors of slavery. Well written and very detailed. You also show the pain and suffering it leaves behind. The imagery of the souls of the enslaved emerging from the depths of the Atlantic Ocean is haunting. The use of the hurricane as a metaphor for the rage and fury of these trapped spirits is very effective. Nicely done. This is well written and so unique. It's also a look at the dark legacy of slavery and the consequences of it.

This is a formidable and powerful post about the vengeance of those souls who were murdered by slavers who captured human beings in order to make a profit. This did not only involved the US, the UK were also involved in this slavery and ordinary folk had the opportunity to own a slave for the purposes of profit. It is a tragic part of history and your horror story is about the price that has to be paid for such terrible suffering. An interesting and inventive post for the contest and I wish I had a six for you, love Dolly x x x
