i loved the gentle rhymes. I'm not personally familiar with poetry and often find the rhymes forced and awkward. It was a fine song to the sky above. Thanks for sharing

Your tribute to darkness and her constant companion the moon also serves as an illumination of your own feelings of sadness (blue) and loneliness.
The idea of a negative being needed to highlight positive qualities is not new but you use it well here in your series of IF clauses.
