So, until then, I'll raise my glass to you for inspiring me to keep going. I mean writing of course. We can't just quit life. There are times when things get difficult or grief takes over and we wonder what our purpose might be, but in the end we keep moving forward until our days are done. I can't imagine taking one's life to be a strength...face the music, dance through your pain, and stay strong for as long as you can. Have a great day!

I liked the tone of this post. It was very real and chock full of insights about how and why your day went as it did. I liked the tongue-in-cheek "skipped exercise", after all you had done. The best part of the day was relaxing under the stars and sipping wine. If you wrote after sipping, the novel might take an interesting turn.

I so agree about sipping the wine and writing. Maybe that explains why my stories tend to write themselves and go in totally different directions than I had planned on. LOL Thanks so much for the kind review.

Thanks so much, Marilyn. I don't think we will ever receive warning of the end of ur world, it will just happen when we least expect it. So I wrote what I felt about a normal day. Thank you for the kind review.

Thank you for taking the time to read the journal. I felt that if the world had already ended who would be alive to write. On the other hand, a typical day without knowing would be what I'd write. Have a great day!

Without God at my side daily, I would not be able to face each day nor look forward to a tomorrow. As for the novel, we finish one and start another. There will always be unfinished work, whether writing or life in general. Thank you so much for your kind review. Have a great day!

It was so hard for me to face life without my wife. But God has blessed me now with time and motivation to write.

It's been five years since my husband passed away and there's not a moment I don't miss his laughter and the love we shared. But yes, God has blessed me too with the ability to write and give others things to enjoy. My friends on FS are more than just a blessing, they are my family.

Hello, Robyn. Thanks for making me laugh at my own story. LOL Actually, I guess I looked at the challenge differently than most. We will never know for sure when the world is ending because if it's the Lord, he's already told us to be prepared and if it's war, they aren't going to warn us at all. I assume one could not write a journal after the world ended so technically, it was just another day. Just moving forward until there is no more forward to go. Hello, Tom. Let me introduce myself. I'm your dead sister, one you never met face to face, because I've been hanging out with the ghosts for far too long. On the other hand, I read your posts and simple marvel at your insanity...thus I assume we just might be related. But you really stunned me with the remark that I write like you...now I am worried. But if the world is ending I know we will both go out with a bank and a smile.

It was like getting as much done as you possibly could even though the world was ending. You even baked a pie and had time to relax under the stars while having a glass of wine.
