Very nice! I remember your other one about that dress, and its meaningfulness and memories. I too met my husband in a most unusual way, a series of amazing "coincidences". Can't comment on the technique, but it read well to me.

Thanks, Wendy. I had fun with this one, though quite a challenge.

This sounds like a fond memory Ginda and I enjoyed your sweet natured rhyming poem. If only you had used an iambic metre for this one, it would have helped the flow a little. The Rondeau is a lovely form, you did well with this one, love Dolly x x x

Thank you, Dolly, for your review and encouraging me to use iambic meter, which I attempted with today's poem called Pretty Pink Pajamas. I would love for you to check it out and let me know how I did. Have a great Sunday.

I enjoyed it whether it followed the strict form or not. The whole "chance" thing... taking the bus or the train, wearing this dress or not...is fun to deconstruct in later years. I had a polka-dotted skirt and top set in brown back in the 1970s, so this poem stirred a few smiles from me.

Thanks, Sally. I have loved polka dots since the 70s. And they never really go out of style.
