This is a very interesting poem you have penned about colors. You used very good descriptive words and very interesting imagery from the artwork you chose. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

This is a well-crafted poem and it says a lot. Do you mind if I share my thoughts on it (not the craft of it but the message)?
It seems you are looking at wrong and right, at black and white, at evil and good, at "an angel or a god," from your perspective. But isn't God over it all, so His perspective trumps all? Even His view of America and the red, white, and blue is the right one, right? And He sees the good, the bad, and the ugly. We only see it from our perspective.
Also, you can let me know if I totally missed the point of the poem. These are just my thoughts.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I enjoyed reading your perspective. Perhaps God, however, one thinks about such a spirit, is controlling the world. What does that mean, however, regarding free will? What we need are those who believe that "God helps those who help themselves". I have always believed that we (you and me) can change the world, and I have done my small part in that.
Best,

I see what you're saying. Basically that even if God is in control of the world, that doesn't mean we just sit back and do nothing, right? We all have a part to play to see the world change. I agree with this.
Also, when it comes to free will, I think it's good for us to give God individual control over our lives. But it's our choice. He doesn't make any of us follow Him.
Anyway, thank you for responding to my message. It's interesting to chat about these things.
Take care,
Mary

What a fantastic way to incorporate colors into a poem! It came across vividly and with a message that is direct and true. Thank you for this and good luck
