Wow. Congrats on Milestone Post #1,500! What an accomplishment!
Great Hailu... Our robins were looking pretty bewildered this past weekend.
They looked like a hat and scarf were in order!

K,
That milestone must crept up on me. It is not a metric that says that much about my writing. I favor positive reviews more and your allegiance to my personal fan club as Prez (-;
The streets are clear but there is still snow on the lawns. Warmer weather soon will melt the same. The robins recently observed will still have opportunities to strut around.

Last night we had a whole "Bunny" family cavorting in the slushy snow! It was so much fun to watch them!

What a wonderful poem, it is good to see/read that the change of seasons can catch us all, one can almost see the confusion on the little robins face, very well written and presented****kahpot

Congrats in your milestone post! This is a cute one highlighting the dilemma of a Robin being caught in between the ice of winter and warmth of spring.

Congratulations on your milestone post! How exciting! Beautiful little haiku! I blew up the photo so I could study the robin. We have the red robins here too. More grass though. Bless your northern hearts! Hoping spring comes soon. My reports from the north and from Canada are rather depressing! Hang in there!
Sending you my best today as always.

Sal,
It has been a strange few days. Last week it was in the 50s and on the weekend, we had three inches of the white stuff.
That milestone just creeped up on me. I am quite amazed at the accomplishment.

It's been weird here too. I had on a wool sweater this morning.
Be blessed by your milestone. I just crossed 750 in November, I think. It's worth celebrating!

Wow! I can't believe you have posted 1500 poems, Mark. This milestone reminds us how erratic March can bel. It's been cold up until today when the mercury hit 60. Fortunately, we have no snow.
I can easily visualize that robin hopping between splotches.

Yes Rod, that number just crept up on me. In years past, I posted more often each week. Now I am pleased if I post two in a week.
Yep, the wether has been tricky these last few months. Our weekend three inches was a surprise following 50s a few days before.
This morning I saw two robins dancing between splotches of snow ? the inspiration for my post.
Thanks, as always, for your reviews of my short stuff.

Congratulations on your milestone post! This was a great poem for the milestone, and you got the syllable count right for the haiku. I liked the "splotches in the snow." Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
