This beautiful poem made me think about one thing. No matter what we experience or what we face, life goes on. And we either keep going or die. Life is a series of events. Good, bad, happy or sad. But all we can do is hold on. Gretchen

Although I haven't had much experience with Tanka, I love the deep and often introspective verses it presents. Whether of love or loss, the genre exposes a measure of vulnerability that we all feel. Here it is no different, it is imaginative, delicate, and well executed, and the motif compliments the theme very well.
