You are my hero kiddo. This is "awesome" my youngest would say as a teenager. I enjoy your work. Are you a night watchmen or something? I was one for a couple of months. It drove me nuts. This was before computers. I had to walk around with just my large flash light for a weapon. I guess I could chunk It at their head!

Ha! No, I retired from one of the alphabet federal agencies in 2019. Since then I have been doing a lot of security. Hurricane infrastructure for FEMA, active shooter threats for big businesses and personal security. I am currently sitting in some multi-billionaires driveway, guarding them and their home from the South American rip-crews working the area.
Thanks for the sixer! I am going to continue to post this lair Of The Seductress book on Sunday's, even with the 30 day contest heavy lift!

You are such a multitasker. Where were you when I was young? If you get called in to protect Trump, can you do a really horrible job? Karen

Sometimes I wonder how it would be to be within the mind of a mystery writer. Are the stories told purely fictitious or arrive based on real life experience events? Do tell.

A lot of my characters are designed around personalities I knew in law enforcement. Mayor Calvin Whittis in this story is more of a typical
Politician. So, maybe half and half?

Aw, what a good guy Greg is.
It was at the crest, with what would be its ceiling - I don't think you need this comma.
The hole into the mountain was about eight-by-eight. - I think I would move this sentence up to the previous paragraph after 'surprise'. It seems out of place here.
Good luck with it.

Great fixes! I just made the changes in my word copy. Moving that line looks so much better! You have a keen eye, Sir!

Well that was a freaky scene! Great way to show the true nature of the man. That was a really tough decision he made. I didn't see any errors other than the ones other reviewers already pointed out. Great job! Julie.

Well that tattoo comes in being useful, it overcame that attacking shadow on the wall, and it looks like that evil, evil man Lenny is out of the picture now. Beautifully written my friend, Douglas, blessings Roy
Typo : often leads to (dead) death? 2. To(o) many free passes.

I would give this post a six too, but I need to spread them out. I was afraid, I wouldn't be able to read about Greg with the novel contest. I'm glad I did and I'm happy he didn't kill Lenny. I can't wait to see what this evil spirit is all about.
He's had to many free passes. (too)

No worries. You always have to spread the love. I'm still gonna give your second one a sixer if you keep up the pace. Ha! Thank you! You're already too kind!
