Hi Carol, this is so well written. It's full of suspense and it keeps up the pace all way through. It's tragic what has happened but you describe it so very well. I feel so sorry for Jackson about the news he's bringing. Ulla xcx

Thank you, Ulla.... Some times the story and the characters get too real and I have to step back for a moment. But then, I imagine, that's what makes it worth reading.... being able to relate to the characters and their flaws.

Great description of the accident scene and the responders. I'm glad the dog alerted the rescuers to where the other drivers were. It's great that the trucker was able to rescue Dion and the other truckdriver. Dion may have a difficult time proving he wasn't at fault, with the drugs in his truck. Well written chapter! Carol

Adding glitter to my Valentine's Day....and I thought I wouldn't get a gift. Awesome! You're so kind and I am thrilled that you continue to enjoy the story.

Well, I don't guess we have to worry about bad-row Bobby anymore, unless he comes back at a ghost. And all that wasted dope. LOL. Just a joke. Thanks for sharing.

Well, well, well. Bobby's dead. Pretty gruesome scene.
So now we have a 'real' mystery. And some heartache.
Good luck with the story and best wishes.

I wasn't sure I could actually pull off the entire chase scene and the accident because I've never written one before. I'm thrilled that everyone seems to be pleased with the outcome. Thank you so much.

Good description of the scene of the wreck. I'm so grateful the trucker saved Dion, although Bobby's plan to ruin Dion's reputation looks likely to succeed. I can't remember if Judy knew what Bobby did with the drugs. Audrey is going to be devastated, although getting Bobby out of her life will make it a lot easier. Does this mean she inherits Gabby and her baby?

    HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, CAROL

Judy didn't see him hide the drugs, because he sent her buy beer inside Bottoms Up. But she does know he bought them and not for his own purposes. Gabby's future still hangs in limbo. And Audrey is being buried with problems.

Thanks for the speedy delivery of this chapter. I was waiting for it. The story is superb so far, and I am sure it will keep getting better. I hope you keep Judy alive so she can clear things up.

Don't be giving away your seatbelt just yet. I think there will be more rocky roads ahead. Thanks for the kind review.

Bobby is, sad to say, no loss, but I hope Judy will survive, as well as Dion and Austin, and have the courage to vouch for Dion's innocence about the drugs and the cause of the accident. Roscoe was certainly the hero of the day, as was the driver of the semi. Very dramatic shapter, very well written with great descriptions of the panic and sense of urgency.

    HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, WENDY

Yes, Dion's future might hang in the balance even though he survived the crash. With Judy in a coma, it could go either way. Thank you so much for liking the story and awarding me the extra glitter. It is so appreciated.

I knew that the truck driver was a hero ! And that he and his dog are both on the same wavelength and work as a team is really endearing.
I hope Audrey will recover from the grieving soon as she has Gabby to care for and a mortgage problem to deal with...

    HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, HELEN

Yes, Austin and Roscoe ar the heroes, working together to save Dion. Audrey has a lot of her shoulders. Hopefully, she doesn't go astray with her thoughts.

How interesting I never thought of a third vehicle involved, but big bad Bobby's gone, but at least she is witness to the white powered, and the hero dog who probably went a long way to saving Dion's life although one other is good, and, of course the writer, beautifully writer, well done, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Yes, Bobby is gone but he's left his mark on others. Hopefully, Dion will be believed and Judy survives. Appreciate your remarks and kindness.

This was brilliant writing, Carol. But I'm worried about the powder Bobby planted in Dion's truck. I hope he is believed when he says it wasn't his. But people don't seem to believe them, do they? What a nightmare for everyone! You're doing such a great job with this, my friend. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Love and hugs! :)) Sandra xxx

Wow...now the glitter was unexpected and sincerely appreciated. Bobby will no longer be terrorizing people, but I think he's already left his mark behind... especially with Gabby. Thank you again. Your encouragement is always appreciated.
