We do remember our first loves and often wonder where they're at or what their lives look like. Thank you for again, for sharing this wonderful poem and the beautiful presentation.

What a beautiful tanka, Gypsy. To paint a picture using only words is quite phenomenal and special to me. To add the picture of the flying doves is beyond words. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

That's such a lovely poem of devotion to a beloved that's no longer there. Those cozy winter nights, those doves in flight all bring memories. I really liked "you're still woven into my thoughts".

I enjoyed reading this. I like the words you use. Also. The pictures go well with the words. The doves add a warmth to the poem. Great job. The different colors you use make the poem stand out.

This poem has lovely imagery, a beautiful flow, and such nostalgia for a time, a love, a memory from the past. You use the color font and pictures to great effect with your poem. However, I don't think you even need to have that as your words are so beautifully descriptive.
Thanks for sharing! Julie.

I enjoyed the imagery here of interweaving and the contrasts between heat and cold as a tribute to your former love. The dove imagery, both written and visual, is also really beautiful. :)
