Hi MariVal
This is a good set of haikus that tell us of a search for God and faith. It reminds us the He can be found anywhere and in anyone.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Good luck in the contest
Have a wondrous weekend.

I think we can find God everywhere. We just need to look with an open heart. This is a beautiful poem and a beautiful presentation. It causes the reader to ponder where can they find God.

You did a fantastic job with this one... it reminded me of a lonely and searching wind that flows over the land looking.. just looking. Thanks for explaining the cypress trees... I had heard that when we lived in Italy. :)

This was breathtaking in its purity. The way we view things that bring us comfort after a loss, both physical and spiritual. This was very comforting. Gretchen

A lovely prayer of longing for the Lord. The only part that's not needed is to "win your love" as God already loves us and there's nothing we need to do to earn and win His love.

Thank you, Big Sister. I'll change that. I based it on the Book of Longings. Anna loves Jesus since the moment she met him and had some reservations about Jesus loving her, just for a moment, but of course, he loved her from the moment he met her too. I guess it's hard to understand if you haven't read the book. All through the book, Jesus is portrayed as the real Jesus and how he loved everybody. I appreciate your review and insightful feedback.
love,
