This is a cool poem. It's almost free verse, but I see end rhymes, and yet there's not a definitive pattern to the rhyme that I can see. But mostly, I think this poem is cool because of the topic. It tells a story, and with it, it seems to enforce the poet's firm decision to "never be a nurse." I like it!

The title is right. One should never say never. Some of what nurses do may seem daunting, but it is possibly the most worthwhile job. But good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Patricia. I have two sisters-in-law who are nurses. Me? panic first, think way down the track. Nursing is indeed a skill. Thank you for the review, and the pointer about the title

You respond to the prompt really well here. This is light-hearted and yet heartfelt, and, to be honest, I agree entirely with your cry. Well done and good luck in the contest.

A unique write on a unique topic. I think this is a worthy entry for the Repetition writing prompt. I also must add that I can relate to it. I've never been good at handling bloody situations or anything that is more than a scratch or average bruise. Anyhow, a very good piece.
