Mrs Fine is everyone's nightmare neighbour. Miranda obviously needs to talk to someone, but she's stubborn. Now she has to go to work, sharing the shift with a student. Even though she knows him, she won't be sharing happy stories with him. Lol. I feel quite sorry for the lad! Another exellent chapter. :)) Sandra xx

Mrs. Fine is everywhere. She knows the low down in the trailer park. Glad you like the chapter. Gretchen

Excellent descriptions to put us right there with Miranda. Everyone wants to protect her, but she is resenting it. I love the comments from the mirror about her having trust issues. Mrs. Fine is so irritating. Great job with this character. I want to punch her, too.

Between her own reflection and mean old Mrs. Fine, Miranda gets some tough skin. Thanks fir this. Gretchen

Wish I had a 6 for you too. Honestly, your story segments are super. I feel like singing
"Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious". Now I cannot get the song out of my head. I owe you 4 more, Karen

I enjoyed your chapter... intriguing plot and well developed characters. I love Miranda... I like the conversations with herself.... lol. It's a fun chapter. It seems like she is well loved, except that annoying Mrs fine who is not fine at all. I know people like that. You are such a good writer (*รท*) Thank you for sharing.

Heh heh, ahh... Those conversations with self that are never concluded until they are. So, she's fortunate that she's well loved by many worth while people, who love her and she loves them back, something's going to break, well done Gretchen, blessings Roy

Excellent writing as usual. Authentic sounding dialogue and then you take us into Miranda's head so successfully, and we are with her as she wishes ill on people, like we all do in our heads! Well done.

Your conversations in this part are great, even the one with her mirror self. Her neighbor sounds like someone she might consider killing if she wasn't such a caring person. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I think most of us have that one acquaintance in our lives that is like a cactus. Just irritating. Miranda only kills people with her razor tongue. Lol. Thanks so much for this great review. Gretchen

You do such a good job character-building when you're not moving the plot forward. It's like Miranda is on the inhale now.
My reflection rolls her eyes at me. "Can't even talk to yourself? Now that's real trust issues." [You're damned good, you know that?!]
I wonder if when she dies, the earth is just going to open up and some demon is going to snatch her. Or should I start sharpening stakes just in case. [I've said it before, but I love Miranda--hopelessly love her!]

And Miranda loves you. Lol. Especially when you understand her view on life. She's a realist, a cynic, and a watcher ... but she still has hope. Thanks so much for this wonderful review and the extra star. Gretchen

I am absolutely loving this! Your characters have such life - back stories, neuroses, quirks. I'm going to have to figure out how to find your original story. You keep referring to Miranda's past, and if that story is anywhere near as good as this one, I know I'll enjoy it immensely.

I see plenty of people are worried about Miranda. I have a feeling they are right. I am wondering who or where all of this is going to come out. I do hope Mitch will be there to help her through it. We haven't seen much of him lately. I enjoyed reading and thank you for sharing.

There is no way she could not be suffering PTSD. She went through a lot. Thanks so much for this. Gretchen
