One minute I was second and then I was sharing the hot seat with another member.

Have you ever heard Captain Kirk scream KAHNNNNN in Star Trek: The Wrath of Kahn...that;s how I sounded. NOOOOOOOOOO

That said, I do appreciate that 8 loved my wee poem (smiles)

I have a list of special fans and I take a look at their portfolios at least once twice a week .. some even everyday to see if they have posted. ( biggrin)

Yiiiiiiiikes! It almost seems like s/he's not even feeling that! Her eyes register no emotion more than mild curiosity! What a great poem you created to go with!

I saw a video a while back where a cat stood up to an alligator as it came up onto the banks of its murky waters...and she caused the thing to literally back up in retreat! That's why this shot is so incongruous and memorable.

Good luck in the contest. This is quite memorable.

Cats can be fearsome.. and they are very entertaining. Never a dull moment with them around.

I was a dog owner first and then transitioned to being a cat lover.

Our first cat was a kitten. Our neighbour's cat had her litter in our garden. We took care of them and kept one kitten and found homes for the other two .. mama went back to the owner.

We named the kitten Spitfire and she had our two dogs under her paw in no time.
