Just as well you swam in the direction of the boat and it hadn't gone so far you couldn't reach it. The ending of that story would have been an unhappy one. Good to choose a different sort of mask. Well done. Best wishes for your entry.

I perfectly understand your feelings and story, I've been in a similar situation when I was advice not to swim outside the river, because the currents will carry me in the ocean. I didn't listen and I almost drown. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.
