I do not normally review religious poems as criticism can often be taken badly. However, in this case, I will make an exception. Firstly the poem seems very wistful and does describe the idea of receiving visions well. As I understand it, Julian of Norwich may have been an anchoress and sought isolation but she did write two books so naming her as silent is, I think, a bit of a misnomer. Also, she acted as a spiritual authority and consular within her order so she did interact with other people quite a lot. Having said that, if you had not mentioned Julian of Norwich I would have liked the poem as a description of visions seen by a hermit.
