This is an amusing tale about how different the years make to what was once a season when a young man's fancy, is now hard labour and no resting in the hammock. Well written, and a fun read, just one typo
Men can appreciate the earth,(warmth) no snow

This poem, Spring Loaded and Ready, is a humorous look at that seasonal requirement to make the landscaping efforts which reflect the family which lives within the home. For that we endure and press on.
