Well written presentation about prayer. The poem requirements have been met. There are no author notes or syllable count. Effective imagery as it is about praying to God.

Thanks, Rosemary. A little prayer, now and then, is a good thing.
Comment from Anne Johnston
Your words are so true, when we cry out to the Lord in prayer, He hears our cry. He gave His life on Calvary to redeem us from sin. Congratulations on winning first place.

Congratulations on your well deserved contest win. You express beautifully the fact that in addition to hearing our prayers of praise and thanksgiving, God also hears our prayers when life is in disarray. Well done.

Thanks, LJ. Hopefully your life has had very few periods of disarray.

Yes, He does. I think most of us who know Him sometimes expect an instant happening, but God has a timetable but it always great when seeing Him move.

Thanks, Rebekka. Probably got lucky. I thought "Petal Power" was the better poem.
Comment from Tom Horonzy
Surely, this is more true than not for people only pray when they are on the spot, endangered on depressed. Maybe though, the world would be a better place if everyone would recognize the beauty that surrounds them, is His work as well. Give thanks.

Hello, Paul,
Congratulations on your well-crafted 5/5/5 poetic offering and win!
I, too, often find comfort and solace in knowing that when my own life is in a disarray, God listens on our very frequent chats ... especially as I am walking out and about...
So simply stated, but with a powerful message.
Thank you!

Paul McFarland,
This is an excellent entry in the 5-5-5 contest. Your first place finish was well earned and appreciated by your fellow Fanstory members. It is succinct and conveys perfectly the power of prayer.
Congtrats! :-)

Very nice job...and I am so glad you won this contest! It's essential we remember this when we're down and discouraged. We may give up (temporarily) on ourselves...but God's always got out back!
Congratulations.

Thanks, Karenina. You are right about God having our backs.

(This means we ought to trust and turn around just a bit more often to bolster our faith, I think!)
