Well, for me when this title came up I thought, how clever I have to see what it's about. So for me, yes the capitals worked even if this was really a note to self. Creative and clever, and hope you've got some of those other things done too. LOL

Hi Pearl, Thank you!
Surely I have NOT gotten, other things done. In fact, I was supposed to write myself, a message, on my breakfast , napkin to remind myself, to
remind myself, to do all of the things I had to dio and I even lost that napkin,; it must have fallen off my place nat.OH!!!
WAIT A MINUTE, NOW! I JUST FOUND THE NOTE!! Ok, here's what it says, Drumroll please.....
Remember:
1. Don't use lots of comas.
2. Don't write run- on-sentences
s And, most importantly..
LEAVE THAT POOR LADY, PEARL, ALONE! Sorry I didn't find it sooner, Pear l! LOL
Back At You! :) lol xx

This is a very cute contest entry you have penned for the 1-1-2-12 writing prompt contest. I am with you on the procrastination. I don't do that with everything, but the main thing I need to get done I sure do! Best wishes in the contest! love and blessings, teri

Thank you, Teri! I'm the same. It's like when I put, the most important things, somewhere, safe. I say, "I put it some place, where no one, will find it!" And, then I don't. :( :)

Clever little poem, and at least you got the poem done and entered without further procrastination. Maybe your priorities are just different! Lol. Best wishes for your entry.

This 1-1-2-12 poem, Procrastination, has the proper formatting and seems to mirror the slow beginning of one's project which leaves it until the end to hustle in all the forgotten words.

I totally enjoyed your poem. In those few words you said a lot. I didn't get the title at first until I read your poem. I myself am a procrastinator.

Sorry; I meant to write that sooner! And THAT'S how I should have placed the, letters and words, in that poem. Why is it that, better ideas come to us, later on? I guess, our ideas procrastinate, too. Buti I personify. I mean, digress. :)

"wish" and "stop" can be in smaller letters. But I bet others would capitalize them like you did. This morning I'm always writing and leaving my work sit, until I get some of the comments completed. I know exactly how you feel.

Thank you Dolly! That's good advice, and I am always encouraged by your supportive words! I do make too many lists. Your word, priorities, us what I will aim to do, from now on. Love, Alex :) x

I have been told both that the first word in each line of a poem begins with a capital letter, and also that no, if a sentence is being carried over onto the next line, the first word is not capitalized, so ...I am of no help whatsoever! :)
Good poem, tho. cute format.

Thank you!! Yes, punctuation truly needs to be settled, in Law. I've never been, comma- confident, so it was quite harrowing, teaching Writing, to students. I think that I settled on the, "Go with what feels right to you," sty my e of teaching, for those. I'll teach semi-colins, all day long but, Commas are tricky. The students never, did, see me cry, so I feel that I aced it! :)

You certainly have kept to the proper syllable count 1-1-2-12 for the contest. I hope you haven't put off something more important... feeding the kids, taking the dogs for ax walk... just kidding back with you!
Good luck in the contest.

I was definitely, neglecting other things, when I wrote the "Procrastination," poem. However, I can assure you, that, no living creatures, were harmed, during my poem writing. Our cat, had a little attitude, and stuck his butt in my face, while I was working, but he lived. Then, I read my poem, to several times, as I was editing, and, he seemed to be praying for death. That might sound overly dramatic, because it, certainly, is. I'm sure he was praying to hear more. Ha Truly, thank you!
