A well written and timely piece, Zanya. We've been through the pandemic, now we must pick up the pieces, and those that lost a dear one will have it the hardest. There is a friend of mine at our church trying to do that and struggling. Thanks for a great write and good luck.

Oh this story is sad and poignant and also speaks of hope and recovery. Good that it's fiction but believable just the same!
I like your subject matter choice. I also can see no issues with your story aesthetically speaking no grammar spelling or punctuation issues that I can see.
Everything looks good and I like your picture choice too!
