This is a good entry into the 80-word flash contest. The text is a great size. The story is well-told and, the plot doesn't seem rushed. That's a feat in 80 words. It seems the wife wants the man to keep searching for his redheaded woman. The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

I am not allowed to tell you what state I am from, but in gneral, we can barely say "good-morning" in 80 words. This was a challenge. But, it was fun to write and I am so glad that you enjoyed it. BTW, My fantasy of that red-headed pub owner never came true. I've been married to the same mean woman for 46 years...

My only view of Ireland is romantic! And, this is a true story. I have told it for 15 years! Finally had reason to write it down. Still married to the same gal. We're still laughing. 46 years... Will there be redheads in Heaven?
