A lovely haiku, I am not familiar with the modern haiku and appreciated your notes. It seems the satori is presented first then the supporting point comes later. I will have to study yours a little closer :). Well done.

The satori can come at the beginning or the end. In Japan, sometimes they write a one line haiku with a satori incorporated to it. I have seen it in English too. I think it's more changeling. You can click on the link to see a few.
the haiku foundation.org-one line haiku I try to expand the possibilities of haiku but there are many on our fanstory who can't go beyond the 5/7/5 mold. ...sigh... lol

"A heart full of blossoms" makes me think of a heart full of hope. Even though the narrator is leaving home, the seeds of love from home life are blossoming within.
