What a lovely quatrain. It follows the 4-lines per stanza structure. The rhyme scheme is a-b-a-b. I like that it shows an interesting perspective -- that of a metal roof owner. I found myself trying to hear those noises being described, and I could hear them!

affected the roof-the sounds etc. and your job afterwards.
I could easily see everything you mentioned. I imagine the

Very well written. I enjoyed every line. I also have a tin roof. The downside is the rust from all the rain in Tasmania. The cost has risen to replace the sheets of the tin too.
ABAB rhyme suits this type of poem and you have executed it very well.

Wonderful! My ears are ringing from all the sounds from all the seasons. What a musical wonder is your roof. I love the sing-song quality of each line a lyrical and rhythimc flow. I enjoyed full use of onomatapoeia that engaged senses. Excellent !
