I'm so glad for you that your misunderstanding was fixed, and your friends came around. This is why I stay off social media.
My social life got off at some exit years ago, and it never came back! lol I love the image you chose to go with it.

I once heard that understanding is the best thing in the world. To be misunderstood can lead to all sorts of problems. Sometime catastrophic. Once understanding takes place, misconceptions disappear and life becomes good. Congratulations.

Such an interesting poem about the need to be understood. I don't normally care for free verse, but the topic of this poem is moving and engaging. I am a strong believer that the lack of being understood leads to depression. And once that roadblock is removed, everyone's well-being improves immensely. I'm glad that happened for you! May it stay that way. Kudos for making such a moving poem!
