What a challenge creating a poem with only 6 lines. It is brilliant the way you have made meaning in so few words. And you rhymed your poem also. I love the way your rhyming diction flows smoothly and actually enhances the poem. Lovely job!

This poem is very well written and enjoyable to read. Even though it has so few lines, it says so much by the descriptive words that you used, and the imagery that it helped to create. When there is a sunset, it really is beautiful and amazing to be able to watch it. Really good poem. Thank you for sharing.

It's all gorgeous, but I adore the second half - It's smoother than buttered silk and slipped across my mind's tongue beautifully. What a great way to tribute the sunset.

This six-line poem, Sunset, has the required formatting plus independent uni-rhyming tercets, and finds the harsh light's leaving to be the best part of the day........................

Very nice words and image. Truly says what you intended.
I might be wrong, but I think you can do away with the apostrophes.
Nice work. Thank you for sharing. Good luck

I thought you did a great job with only six lines. The part about losing your frown at first didn't make sense. But I guess you didn't lie the sun - too bright. Very creative use of the prompt. I enjoyed your poem.

This is a good entry to the six-lined poem contest. The text is an okay size. The message is clearly stated. However, the sky when the sun goes down is typically a darker color than azure, which is a pretty lighter blue. That's a great personification line. I would just put a darker color blue. The visual fits well. Good luck if the contest is not over.
