Scrooge found himself in a place where he did not enjoy himself and forbade all around him to enjoy themselves. He did have a heart and his conscience was eventually touched by tiny tim and things changed as he became Uncle Scrooge, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Like your poem and the rhyming. We see a different side of Scrooge in your poem. He did find the true meaning of the holidays; good luck in the contest.

This is a very well written poem you have penned for the Tricky Rhyme Time writing prompt. You used very good descriptive words, especially about scrooge and very good imagery. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

This is a great perspective on the Christmas Carol story. In your poem you really painted a picture of how the character grew while using some weird words given to you by the prompt. I love how you showed, not a backstory, but a continuation for Scrooge. It was also cool to see how you depicted the lessons that he learned-leaving the past behind, being kind, sharing, and learning how to smile and unwind!

This poem, Pays to be Kind, has all the required words and reminds the readers of Ebeneezer Scrooge's conversion from a grumpy old misanthrope to a gentle and kind oldster.
