What beaver treasures do you gather to create rye. Is this rye for the bread or the liquor?

    LOL! Thanks for the review, Joan. Technically, the recipe doesn't call for rye, but I used it because it was one syllable. In the recipe, the bread is just what the "angels" sit on. Kind of like the base for bruschetta. Sorry it's so confusing! Any suggestions for improvement of the poem, other than probably making the recipe a bit less metaphorical?

    You're welcome, Aiona. If this is a bread recipe, you can use wheat instead of rye. Because wheat flour is used in bread.

    It's not a bread recipe. The bread just goes under the "angels." Whitstable Angels is just oysters wrapped with bacon and grilled. "On Horseback" means "on toast." Apparently it's a recipe from a place southeast of London.

    Thanks for the review, Dolly. You're not the only one who was confused. So I'll edit it by including the regular recipe at the bottom.

Your contest entry was in great form, Aiona.
Great job with the syllable count per line. I
liked the whole presentation--artwork, smooth
flow of words, and use of descriptive words. I
have no idea what you were referring too, though.
I would add what these 'things' were in author notes.
