Finally. I keep reading hoping beyond hope one of these 5-7-5 pieces have a concrete meaning. Thank you and best of luck. Yours is actually the second with two more to read.

Your comments mean a great deal.

Ooooh! Now that's a really unique take on the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly. Not just "instinct," but "life's nectar." Very creative!! Good luck in the contest; this is a contender!!!

It's my pleasure!

Ooh! This is a good entry. What I like:
-the alliteration of lured and life
-the plain faunt, so the focus is on the meaning, not the design
-the picture is perfect for your words
-the feeling that the caterpillar has a love for one of God's other creations, flowers.
Great job!

You have turned a description of metamorphosis into something much broader with your insertion of the phrase. This makes a strong connection between the life cycle of the butterfly and the emergence of a person from the protective coat of childhood into the wider world of adulthood. I hope you are suitably rewarded in the contest.

You got the meaning I was looking for, thank you for that.

You did a great job with the syllable counts here. Your expression of the caterpillar turning into a butterfly was lovely. I liked the third line especially. Thanks for sharing this, and best wishes to you.
