never was fortunate enough to have a grandmother, but my Mother did all this. It was my mother's knee. Your poem is lovely. Well done. Nancy:)

My mother, too. My grandmother lived with us, so I was with her during the day until I started school. Thanks for a great review!

There is wisdom in having learned from life and passing it on the younger generation is a worthwhile goal. Children are fortunate who have grandparents who have lived a good life and have the time and inclination to pass on. I love your rhyming poem telling us of this.

Everyone I have reviewed with this picture seems to have missed an important point. The little girl is is pouting discontentedly. While later on Granny's advice may have been taken to heart, at the time of this pictur It does not seem to me to be appreciated.
