This is a lovely jisel poem presentation June. I love the scent of jasmine and you are right in your last line, the essence remains on the breeze. Beautifully written, cheers

My mom's favorite flower was the gardenia. And anytime I smell that scent, I think of her. It's amazing how certain scents can trigger deep memories. Thank you for sharing your sentiments.

Beautiful jisei poem for the Japanese club challenge. I love the presentation and the composition of your jisei is perfect...very zen. Good syllables count and connection between lines.

June, This post has a beautiful aroma. Words and artwork flow together in a nicely wrapped package.
Even after the flower has wilted/withered, its scent can still be 'sensed.'

I'm glad you enjoyed this jisei poem. We all hope to leave a positive impact on people's lives - like the lingering scent of a flower after it's gone. Thank you for reading and sharing your sentiments.

This is a lovely presentation, June.
The image and color scheme are
perfect for your well thought out
words. I believe this poem could
be about the actual flower, or
a woman who's gone from her
lover, husband etc.
Respectfully, Jan

I didn't know of this form. How wonderful, to capture final thoughts before one's death. How much more wonderful when such words as this poem, issues forth ~ a reminder that each of us will leave this earthly body ~ yet all of us will leave something ethereal and eternal as well.
Beautifully penned!

I wasn't familiar with this type of poetry but it is a good reminder that our life can be remember in a positive way even after we no longer live as a part of this world.
