I'm behind as I injured my shoulder. It hurts to sit too long at the computer and review. A wonderful poem though for your book. An enchanting home you grew up with. Sending you my best today as always,

That sounds lovely and a natural way to have a walkway. But with our yard, I think there once was a gravel path but so much green has covered it by now. Lol. Enjoyed your rhyming couplet!

Those cobblestone pathways always reminded me of the yellow brick road. Although, that's somewhere I've never been or truthfully even imagined. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

    Hehe, I was always a bit spooked by The Wizard of Oz! But cobblestone paths do seem to jump out of fairy tales. :)

This couplet and the artwork are simple and delightful. Your parents are very creative. I love the idea of the path meandering across the green lawn .
