Respect is a word that is very precious to many of us writers. Respect must be earned and not taken for granted. Many writers become famous because they have earned respect from their clients. Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone, or something elicited by their abilities and qualities.

Thank you for reviewing. Yes, I agree. Respect must be earned by all, no matter how important their role, at an individual level and moving right up through business and corporate levels to the national level.

This poem has a clear message is such a few words. The pictures are a nice addition to the entry. I agree with your concept of respect. It cannot be demanded, though I have witnessed some who try. Good luck in the contest.
