Thanks for sharing another piece of world history with us, Brett. You've explained well, the essence of Zionism and how it came to be. I can see it being a method of segregation; I'm not sure about racism.

I certainly appreciate all the hard work you've put in on everyone of these first 10 chapters of our book "The Sea of Galilee." And I'm sure that with my swiss cheese memory that at some point I'll have to go back and read them again. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

I find it really interesting that Jews have been continually persecuted over the centuries, and, of Christians in the process, of course the ruler of the earthly realm is Satan, but really that was snatched away by Jesus' cross, but it still persists today. We've stayed with friend in Alsace in France. Beautifully written Brett, blessings Roy

What an interesting read and I now understand a little more about what happened. For many years as a child, I couldn't understand why everyone was not Jewish because they are God's chosen people. Aging is a good thing if you learn something. Unfortunately many don't. Great job. Shirley

I am surprised that so many Jews are now living in Israel. I bet not a lot of them left the United States to move back. The Jewish people aren't treated so badly her and most of the are successful. I'm enjoying learning more about Zionism. It seem the idea of extending the Jewish homeland to include Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt would have an impossible undertaking.

I have never understood why the Jewish people have been persecuted all the years and still are today. It never made sense to me. I also never understood the conflict between West Bank and the Gaza Strip either. In my head, it belongs to Israel, but it doesn't it's not that easy.
