Okay. I wish I had all afternoon to remain here, among your lovely writing, and feast. Alas, duty calls. (In this case picture duty as a muddy-faced grandson named Maxwell who is insisting he will perish if not fed immediately!
I truly have enjoyed spending a few hours with you...
I pray my reviews bring you a smile (and strategically) and a few boosts to ATBs as well.
(I enjoy doing this on occasion and you seemed the perfect candidate today!)

Your autumn poem is beautifully presented, Yvonne. I can tell how much you love Fall. Your words are descriptive, there's great flow, the use of some alliteration works, and your message is clear. As soon as Fall leaves, winter's siege sets in. So true. But it all prepares Earth for the beauties of Spring. Your words are well thought out, and the personification of jack ?Frost is perfect. I love the color scheme and the awesome image.

I've certainly seen a lot of falling leaves. I've also been seeing them dragged into the house! Nothing very colorful yet. Great analogy to the fall wardrobe. I just got my winter things out. Soon the trees will be bare of leaves. They can have a good rest. This is beautifully worded. "Like Knights in armor vow their liege" is beautifully worded. judi

the message of your poem is well phrased using excellent rhyme and constant meter. Of course, the message is a recurring one that we go through every year. It would be nice that whoever turns those leaves brown would come and pick them up.

I miss my East Coast autumns, having lived in the south for five years now.

You get my last six, dear SATP. This is a lovely poem about the Autumn and the leaves falling. I find there is such a beauty in the naked tree, the twisted branches remind me of myself aging. My branches are becoming a twisted mess!! There is some lovely imagery in this one, Nature is a master of creative beauty, and it's so easy to put it into poetic form. Love this!!
