Melissa,
Sometimes an entry passes me by. In this case, your post earned you notoriety of the best kind - a win plus recognition for the reviews of the same.
The person in the illustration contemplates the quiet mood you have successfully painted in your Cinquain. Lots of nice phrasing throughout your poem - well done!
Mark
P.S. Other than the squiggle after 'night,' surprised you capitalized 'Soft.'

Hi Mark. Thanks so much. I am surprised that I capitalized 'Soft' too. LOL I may go and edit that little nit. Hugs, my friend.

This is a pretty awesome short poem, and you found the perfect art to go with it. The flow and phonics appropriately contrast and match the visual imagery, smooth where it needs to be smooth and punctuated where it is stark. Well done.

Wow! This one is powerful. It needs to be read slowly. We must linger over your twilight before it becomes deep. The punctuation and capitalization help a lot. I guess that is because it makes the reader linger over your words just as we are to do with life.
This is a poignant write. I will be looking for this one on the leaderboard.

Your use of color in this is lovely. Hues and tint suggest the work of an artist, arranging the colors of evening to suit his fancy. You paint a striking picture in this. Best of luck in the cinquain contest. judi
