Another fine poem, Gypsy--powerful and beautiful words send a message of loss and remembrance and something to cling to in a time of unrelenting grief

This really is a beautiful posting. It speaks of a great love shared through original poetry that is being read over and over again with the passing years.

Lovely! That's a wonderful last couple of lines:
"The petals' scent preserved
amidst the rhythm of his words"
That covers the sense of smell and sound and even if the scent of the rose petals are gone, the scent of his words still are sweet.

-Nice image and
presentation, Gypsy.
-A good topic and imagery.
-You set the theme up well in line one.
-You show how she honors his
memory with "his last rose."
-Very good concluding lines.
-A very good poem that paints
a vivid picture of this woman
paying tribute to her late husband.

This was enjoyable to read and very evocative. I've just finished reading a book about a young couple who were parted for thirty-seven years but eventually found each other again.

I guess that's the real reason I write, not only does it get my journaled thoughts on paper, but it reveals God's love and mine for those that proceed me, beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy
