Well done on using those five words in a poem. Good rhyming on the last words of each stanza. I like your closing verse very much:
"Ultimately there's a JOY that I have
knowing where I'll spend eternity.
In the presence of God's son."

Nicely worded poem using the words required
Graphic, joy,death and spice
As you described the burial ritual in foreign lands
Photo and color theme good as well
Good luck in the contest

You've met the requirements of this poem, using the words provided. The picture is unusual; are the hands spirit? Flesh? I'm not sure.
You seem to be describing a crude embalming process used in other countries, but you end the poem on a positive note; you are joyful at prospect of spending eternity with Jesus -- me, too! So if we're born again, we won't focus on what will happen to our mortal bodies, but on where our immortal spirits will go: with the Lord!

Yes, it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the words Spice and Death, and yes I am born again and I?m thankful the joy that I have one else to have not just for when we go from death to life but just to enjoy life while we?re here as well. This is a good way to sew a seed into other peoples hearts. Thank you for your review

You're very welcome, my brother or sister. Yes, through Christ we have hope not just for the future, but for an eternity that begins right now. Yes, may we both sow seeds of His grace into the hearts of those who are hungry and thirsty for His truth.
