Taking leave of another person can cause terrible stress, and when the parting took place on unfair or unhappy terms, the grief comes with pain.

I like the feeling of your renga. That the memories are fading and yet somehow deep below the conscious, the pain of the relationship still lingers.
Reminisce is a verb so I think you might consider a noun like "Remembrance"
