I've heard that bad things happen in threes, so I see how things could be funnier in threes. I don't know of any jokes ending on a 'k" sound. But being inspired by a published writer is a good thing, if you don't totally copy his style and lose your own.

Yeah, that was a crappy example. I need to actually write a piece (script or story) utilizing it, and see what the response is. :) Thanks, for the review, Joan.

I'm puzzling over this one. How is it funnier in threes? If something happens three times? Or three characters are involved? I also didn't know what it meant with a K-word. End with a word that stars with an unvoiced velar consonant? Thanks for sharing your advice.

I will try to give a better example sometime. This poem was kind of shoddy work on my part. I could have done better.

They say three is a crowd, as two is company. I do like three stanzas though as I think it can be just enough, so you probably won here. Not sure there is more humour in threes, but some comedians would disagree, love Dolly x
