Hello Brigitte,
You've written an excellent free verse poem about the lost keys
and their new master. So many secrets hidden away,
now all you need to do is find the locks,
though some secrets are best left hidden.
I think this poem might benefit from adding punctuation.
As it's posted, it is one long sentence.
Nicely done.
Best wishes.

This was a delightful mystery poem...For sure, I would like to know more about this treasure chest of keys. You wrote a great poem about the meaning of this discovery. If you find out, let us know.

Thank you for your positive comments. Reviews that were so positive inspired me to write a sequel, "The Lock".

Dear Brigitte, being a very practical person I would say that unless you live in a castle that has all kinds of passageways and strange boxes hidden in the towers you are going to have a very tough job getting anywhere is the keeper of the keys.

I don't live in a castle but have found many locked "locks". Diaries, boxes, doors, sheds, etc. This quest will lead to future poems and already inspired "The Lock". Thank you for reading.

I loved this poem. It holds the mystery of the boxes and the mystery of where these keys belong. How many times I look at my key ring that is loaded with forgotten keys. You captured that feeling.

Hello, Brigitte,
Beautiful and very interesting poem. It could be part of a story about the key or flash fiction. Maybe you could use the keys to make jewelry. Thank you for sharing it with us.

This is very real. Most people including me have keys which look familiar but have no idea what they are. Yet the keys that we are looking for, we cannot find them.
Good writing. Thanks for sharing.
PS:If you like Ghost Story, Pregnant Ghost chapter 6 is available for review. It is now posted on Fanstory cover page.
Thank your support.

I found a similar box when my parents passed away; some extremely old, others shiny and bright. Some had little tags, but most had none. Now I know why that little box sat undisturbed in a drawer, because I too will never solve the mystery of all those keys. Well written and brought back a memory too. Smiles to you!

This is fascinating! You could write a book about these keys - each of them could be a short story. Title: Keeper of the Keys. I'm glad you shared this with us - keep us posted should you figure out who or what they belonged to...

Obviously, someone with a diabolical sense of humor has sentenced you to a mission of becoming a searcher of locks. I do hope that you unlock at least one lock to disclose some kind of treasure and not just some useless curiosity.
