It does appear from this poem that you are an easy catch. Maybe during this pandemic, the lack of our normal shopping sprees has taken hold and it is a way of recapturing the old feelings.

Aiona,
This is a well done minute poem that tells of the lure of the internet. It can alter your intentions quickly.
Good luck in the contest
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Happy Holdays

Yeah. Thanks, Joan. I just spent 4 hours on Facebook just now before I came here to start writing. ARGH!

That's rough, Aiona.
You're welcome.
I have finally learned to do only certain things each time I am on the internet. I only allow my self up to 3 hours. Of which part of it is here. That way I have time for work, reading, writing and doing things with my family.

Electronic Quicksand was such a great title for an experience that so many of us have hazily found ourselves.
Lost in the click bait and switch world...
I enjoyed this minute poem.

Thanks. I was just on Facebook for FOUR HOURS just now. ARGH! I watched "The Social Dilemma" on Netflix, and it describes this phenomenon. And even knowing it, I still fall for it!!! LOL!

Hahaha! Perfect use of a Minute poem! And so many minutes are lost using our internet time and one search leads to another so quickly. Best wishes in the contest!!
