This is a pretty write, colorful and vibrant. I'm in awe of those bulbs that Nature programs to burst into bright blooms in early spring providing food for hungry bees.

You sustain the personification beautifully, "cloaks of icy snow" reminds me of the Snow Queen.

Excellent satori rounds off an uplifting write.

Stay safe and blessed

Julia

June,
the photo is pretty, and I'm glad I read your poem because I didn't know what crocuses were about.
A nice 5 7 5 poem addition to the book.; its sad that the warmth of spring won't be here for five more months.
Excellent work.
Best wishes,
Cindy

Your addition to the renga book is great, June. I like the personification of the crocus and the s & w alliteration. You art choice pairs well with your words, too.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Spring Ball
by June Sargent

Hello, June,

Great addition to our renga book. It captures the winter season and follows dovemarie chapter well. Thank you very much for excellent chapter. Good syllable count and connection between lines. Beautiful presentation.

You are thinking of spring already June? And why not, I can't wait for it to arrive and see the new buds in England. I love the thought of crocus shedding cloaks of icy snow, just perfect, love Dolly x

June,

An outstanding contribution to this Renga collaboration. The gentleness of both artwork and verse really makes for an excellent presentation for FS reviewers.

Do like:

your coloring scheme
amazing artwork
w-letter alliteration in last line
crocuses covered in icy snow - very vivid image! - and their Spring arrival
