Charles snuck into the law offices, stuffing his treasure inside the ornate magician’s trunk. ‘Twould be fine until morning… At the dawn reading of Grandpa’s will, everyone eyed that expensive trunk. “And my lifelong magical dreams,” Attorney Hillson droned, “go to my Katy.” Disappointment was palpable… except five-year-old Katy: she squealed, running to open the trunk. Out hopped a floppy-eared rabbit. She scooped it into a hug. “Just like Grandpa promised!” Katy’s mom eyed her husband, Charles… who simply smirked.
