Strung up like a slaughtered goat,
a bloody cord around my throat;
hanged and hanging from a tree,
a 'suspended' sentence; see?
Pulled over on a speeding beef,
arrested as a fleeing thief;
seemed the local bank'd been robbed,
and the bank clerk's cabbage cobbed.
The trooper pulled me from my seat,
had me lying on the street;
popped the trunk and took a look
at all the cash that someone'd took.
He used a night stick, hit me good,
then drove me out into the woods;
hoisted up now, like a deer;
I guess I'll end up dying here.
