Along the edges of the dawn
a shadow song
faint, haunting tune
of lonely loon.
Here in the misty shades of gray,
dense, dampened spray,
an echoed sound
unsure, unbound.
He searches for her in the reeds
unending weeds,
his faithful quest
reveals her nest.
