Unneeded, not wanted
Numb to the replays
Promises unkept, unmet
Accepting no more drama
Crushing words creating trauma
Kindness falters under stress
Intimacy bound in cubes of ice
No more spark of hope rebounding
Grinding our relationship to a halt.
Little, by little, you've pushed me away,
Over the little things, I did not say
Vainglorious your needs, mine humility -
Everyone for themselves, where love is lacking!
