This is our chance, friend leprechaun
To ride a rainbow end to end-
Come hold my hand, we’ll hop on board
And ride those colors ‘cross the sky

That red edge can be rough at first
But once you’re on, it evens out-
‘Tis soft as silk where red meets orange
No sleeker slide you’re gonna find

We can’t stop now, sweet Irish man
You know bright yellow’s next in line-
And with the wind, that golden tinge
Will warm as we enjoy the ride

Here in the middle, green gets thick
And makes for quite the bumpy course-
Hold your hat tight and don’t let go
‘Cuz blue’s like slipp’ry butter spread!

Right here that rainbow riding skill
Will surely save your Blarney bum-
Just take a breath and skate along
‘Til purple's fuzzy froth prevails

Now you can rock and you can roll
Do somersaults through lilac lakes-
But either way, dear leprechaun
We’ve reached that fabled rainbow’s end…

A pot of gold? What do you mean?
You think a thing like that exists?
This rainbow riding's really fun
But fantasies are just for kids!!
