Author Notes
My participation for the multy-author renga-book. In the hot summer days in Mallorca, it happens sometimes. With the southern winds Sahara sands are carried all the way over to cover the Mallorcan sky, coloring it a fantastic brownish-yellow. Only everybody fears that it might also rain then, because if that happens, everything will be covered in a layer of thin, dirty dark yellow sand. Cars, swimming pools, laundry forgotten and still hanging outside, streets, plants, everything. Beautiful in the sky, but it should not come down!

Renga is Japanese collaborative poetry in which alternating stanzas, of 5-7-5 stanza and 7-7 couplets are linked in succession by multiple poets. The most famous range master was Matsuo Basho.

If you would like to contribute a chapter to this range book, click on ADD CHAPTER icon over the review box.

A 5-7-5 stanza is followed by a 7-7 couplet, and a 7-7 couplet is followed by a 5-7-5 haiku, following the same theme without using the same words.
