Behold the
golden flower
as it turns
toward the sun,
and even though
the path is light,
still know that
rainfall comes--
unveiling His
magnificence,
in colors,
every one;
a covenant
that's heaven sent,
which cannot
be undone.
Behold the
autumn maple,
how it's red
beyond belief.
Remember
how He bled
between the killer
and the thief.
You know
He numbers
every tear,
and names
each fallen leaf,
and since we are
much more
than these,
He's gifted
us relief.
Behold the
purple majesty
that reaches
to the sky,
and know
He's up
in Heaven,
reaching down
to you and I.
Let Him remove
your muzzle,
and that beam
within your eye,
to be His voice
and witness,
when the world
starts asking
'why?'
